TAAUT holds regional AOTCA Conference in Taipei

In response to the thrust of the Asia-Oceana Tax Consultants’ Association to have more exchange of information among its members in the Asia-Pacific region, the Tax-Accountancy Association Union of Republic of Chinese Taipei (TAAUT) held a regional tax conference last January 21, 2019 in Taipei City and invited AOTCA members to speak at the conference. The conference was upon the initiative of TAAUT President, Mr. Ming-Hsien Hung.

"Ulaanbaatar Declaration" of GTAP

The Global Tax Advisers Platform (GTAP) issued the “Ulaanbaatar Declaration” on 12 September. The declaration signed by the presidents of AOTCA and CFE Tax Advisers Europe establishes 10 key priorities for tax advisers pursuing international cooperation among tax advisers and optimization of the national and international tax framework. GTAP was founded by AOTCA, CFE and the West African Union of Tax Institutes (WAUTI) who collectively represent about 600,000 tax advisers in Asia, Oceania, Europe and Africa.

AOTCA elects new officers

The 16th AOTCA General Meeting held in Ulaanbaatar on 12 September 2018 elected the officers who are to serve for coming two years. Ms. Euney Marie J. Mata-Perez (TMAP) was elected as President and Mr. Lee Chan Kyu (KACPTA) was elected as Deputy President. For other officers, refer to the AOTCA Officers.

Opinion Statement on OECD consultation draft

The Global Tax Advisers’ Cooperation Forum (GTACF) submitted the Opinion Statement in response to the OECD consultation draft regarding new tax rules requiring disclosure of Common Reporting Standard (CRS) avoidance arrangements and Offshore Structures. GTACF was established by the Asia-Oceania Tax Consultants Association (AOTCA), CFE Tax Advisers Europe and the West African Union of Tax Institutes (WAUTI).

AOTCA General Meeting 2016 elects new officers

The 14th AOTCA General Meeting held in Hong Kong on 6 October 2016 elected the officers who are to serve for the years 2017 and 2018. Mr Toshihiro Ikeda (JFCPTAA) was reelected to the President, and Ms Euney Marie Mata Perez (TMAP) was newly elected to the Deputy President. For other officers, please refer to the AOTCA Officers.
