AOTCA Technical Committee Chair Benny Wu Presents at BRITACOM Event

Dr. Benny Xiaoqiang Wu, Chair of the AOTCA Technical Committee, participated online as a speaker at the Belt and Road Initiative Tax Administration Cooperation Mechanism (BRITACOM)  event on 26 June, and delivered a presentation on behalf of AOTCA.

BRITACOM organized the event to launch its research initiatives on the Tax Administration Product Portfolio (TAPP) and the Taxpayer Service Product Portfolio (TSPP) in Munich,  Germany.

In his presentation, titled "Taxpayer Credit Governance in a Changing World," Dr. Wu discussed the operation of taxpayer credit governance systems implemented in jurisdictions including Brazil, Korea, Italy, and China. He emphasized that a modern tax system relies not only on legal authority but also on credibility, fairness, transparency, and public confidence.

The event featured 12 speakers from the tax administrations of BRITACOM participating jurisdictions and observer organizations, including AOTCA. The event concluded with an active and productive exchange of views among participants.
