The Korean Association of Certified Tax Accountants, composed of over 16,000 professionals dedicated to serving the public and businesses, was founded on February 10, 1962. With over 60 years of history, it is a leading community of top-tier tax experts.

The KACTA oversees essential functions for the development of tax systems and administration, including membership registration, discipline, and monitoring. In addition, the association actively fulfills its social responsibilities by engaging in public welfare activities such as the "Community Tax Accountant" initiative, "Dream Volunteer Group," and the "Public Welfare Foundation," which involve talent donation and social service. It also strives to enhance the professional competencies and welfare of approximately 50,000 staff members working in member offices.
